1 Dead, 1 Hurt In 3-Car Crash In Oakland County: Report

Investigators believe drugs played a role in the deadly crash.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was killed and another man was injured in a three-car crash in Oakland County over the weekend, according to local reports.

The crash happened at 11:40 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Big Beaver Road and Woodward Avenue, WDIV reports.

A 34-year-old Troy man was driving a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee west on Big Beaver Road and sped through a red light at the intersection, striking a 2007 Toyota Camry, according to the report.

The driver of the Camry, a 30-year-old Farmington man, was killed in the crash. The Troy man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition, according to the report.

A third car was involved in the crash, but police did not release any details about that driver.
