Do you have historic family photos, documents, or letters that pertain to Harrison Township’s history? Join us for a Local History Scanning Party to preserve your documents and contribute to our developing local history collection.
Sign up for a time slot between 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to have up to 10 photos, letters, or documents digitized by library staff. You’ll receive digital copies to keep, and you can choose to donate the digital copies or the physical items to the library’s up-and-coming local history collection.
If you wish to donate photos, letters, or documents, you do NOT need an appointment. Stop by any time to drop off donations. You only need an appointment if you would like to keep your items.
We are seeking items that reflect local history, people, places, and events. In particular, photos of local scenes and buildings, past residents, homes, social events and clubs, military, churches, schools, yearbooks, and businesses.
