Officers approached the area and stopped the van using lights and sirens, according to prosecutors.
Roe initially stopped the van but then fled, speeding through traffic and disregarding multiple traffic signals, according to prosecutors.
Officers chased her for roughly 20 minutes before ending the pursuit due to safety concerns, though officers in unmarked police cars continued watching her, according to prosecutors.
The pursuit ended when Roe crashed into another vehicle near Hall and Garfield roads in Mt. Clemens, according to prosecutors.
Officials said Roe sped through a red light at the intersection and was struck by another vehicle, causing the U-Haul truck to roll over.
There were no major injuries in the crash and Roe was arrested, officials said.
"The allegations in this case reflect a blatant disregard for public safety. When a suspect chooses to flee from law enforcement, innocent motorists and families are placed at serious risk. Our office will continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners to hold accountable those whose actions endanger the community," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said.
