Forecasters expect the storms to move into the area sometime between 6 p.m. and midnight Saturday. The greatest threats will be heavy downpours and strong winds up to 60 miles per hour.
The strongest storms are expected south of Interstate 94, according to NWS.

Additional showers are expected Sunday, but forecasters do not expect any severe weather.
Highs will be in the 80s over the weekend and into early next week when the rain fades away, according to NWS.
