Dexter residents can celebrate close to home at Fireworks on the Farm, hosted by Social Vines Vineyard & Winery. The evening includes food trucks, live music, wine and a fireworks display after sunset, with a rain date scheduled for July 5.

Ann Arbor Jaycees Fourth Of July Parade
When: Saturday, July 4, 2026, 10 a.m.–12 p.m.
Where: Downtown Ann Arbor
Admission: Free
About 20 minutes from Dexter, the Ann Arbor Jaycees Fourth of July Parade brings a classic community celebration to downtown Ann Arbor. Families can expect decorated floats, local groups, music, performers and plenty of red, white and blue along the parade route.
4th Of July Craft & Play
When: Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026, during all play sessions
Where: Hide and Seek: A Play Boutique | 1954 S. Industrial Hwy., Ann Arbor
Admission: $18 per child
Families with young children can head to Ann Arbor for a Fourth of July-themed craft and play session at Hide and Seek: A Play Boutique. The indoor option offers a festive, low-key way for kids to celebrate the holiday while staying out of the summer heat.
Salute To America At Greenfield Village
When: Thursday, July 2–Sunday, July 5, 2026, 5–10 p.m.
Where: Greenfield Village | 20900 Oakwood Blvd., Dearborn
Admission: Ticket required
Greenfield Village will mark America's 250th anniversary with Salute to America, a long-running Independence Day tradition featuring the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, historic programming and fireworks. The evening blends live music, patriotic celebration and living-history experiences for a memorable holiday outing.
