We’re going to be doing a bit of worship along with showing our faith by our action on Sunday, October 25!
There will be three different “Faith in Action” Activities to choose from set up in Knox Hall. You may select to do one or all of the activities.
Kindness Rocks: Many of us have seen kindness rocks in a variety of places. In the park, in someone’s garden, on a bench. They usually carry a positive message of some kind and warm our hearts when we see them. Now you have an opportunity to create your own positive message for someone else to find. Rocks and acrylic pens will be provided.
Letter Writing:Nothing is quite as comforting as a note, card, or letter from someone when you are feeling down, going through hard times, or feeling alone. We’ll provide the note cards; you partner with God to provide the comforting words.
Fleece Blankets: Winter is around the corner, and fleece is cozy and warm. We’re partnering with Fleece and Thank You, from whom we’ll purchase kits, make the tie-knot blankets, and Fleece and Thank you will deliver them to kids in hospitals all over Michigan. We can also record an encouraging, comforting message to go along with every blanket we complete.
