Grosse Pointe native Jamie Ding earned his 30th consecutive Jeopardy! win Thursday night.
Grosse Pointe native Jamie Ding earned his 30th consecutive Jeopardy! win Thursday night.
The streak has him fifth all-time and just two behind James Holzhauer for fourth. Ken Jennings holds the record with 74 straight victories.
During the win streak, Ding has won $849,603, which also places him fifth all-time in victories, according to Jeopardy.com and TheJeopardyFan.com.

Ding, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 2009, the Grosse Pointe News reported.
He went on and graduated from Princeton University in 2013. He now works New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency.
