Teen Shot, Killed At House Party In Harper Woods: Police

HARPER WOODS, MI — A 19-year-old Detroit teen was shot and killed at a house party in Harper Woods over the weekend, according to police.

The shooting happened at 12:30 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 19100 block of Huntington Avenue where police said residents were holding a loud house party.

The teen was privately taken to a nearby hospital where he died, according to police.

Officers arrived at the home and found evidence of a shooting but did not release any other details, including if there were any arrests.

A motive was also unclear.
