AUBURN HILLS, MI — A deadly Saturday shooting at Great Lakes Mall in Auburn Hills was sparked by a bathroom fight, according to police.
Police said a 22-year-old man and a 20-year-old man got into a fight inside a bathroom at the mall.
Some time later, the 20-year-old man and another man saw the 22-year-old at a food court, where they confronted him, according to police.

The three men started fighting again, leading to the 22-year-old fatally shooting the 20-year-old Pontiac man, according to police.
A 19-year-old woman was also struck by gunfire and suffered non-life-threatening wounds, according to police.

The 22-year-old Detroit man, who is a CPL (Concealed Pistol License) holder, was arrested at the mall, according to police.
Police said he is cooperating with investigators. Officials have not released any names.
Police said the shooting was an isolated incident and that there were no other injuries.
The mall was closed the rest of Saturday as police investigated.
The case will be turned over to the prosecutor's office for potential charges.
