Man Shot, Killed Inside Oakland County Home: Sheriff

Police are looking for tips on the shooter.

PONTIAC, MI — A 25-year-old man was found shot to death inside an Oakland County home Sunday, according to the sheriff's office.

The shooting happened at 10 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 300 block of Central Avenue in Pontiac, officials said.

Officers arrived and found Brian Keith Washington Jr. in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to the neck and not breathing, officials said.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Investigators found shell casings outside the bedroom window.

Police are looking for tips on the shooter. They asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAKUP.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
