Man Shot Dead During Domestic Dispute In Shelby Township: Police
Reports say the victim was a father who was killed by his son.
SHELBY TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was shot to death during a domestic dispute inside a Shelby Township home Thursday, according to police.
The shooting happened at 4:23 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 48000 block of Sandifer Court in the Dequindre Estates Mobile Home Park near Dequindre and Hamlin roads, according to police.
When officers arrived at the home, they found a man shot dead, according to police.

They quickly arrested another man in connection with the shooting, according to police.

Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide. They did not release any additional details, including a possible motive for the shooting.
Police did say that there is no threat to the public.
The case will be submitted to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
