Boy, 15, Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting In Fraser: Authorities
Police respond to domestic incident; investigation underway after 15-year-old is fatally shot.
FRASER, MI — A 15-year-old boy is dead following an officer-involved shooting Saturday afternoon in Fraser, authorities said.
The Fraser Department of Public Safety responded to a domestic incident around 5:30 p.m. in the 17000 block of Breezeway, according to ABC 7 Detroit. During the encounter, a Fraser police officer fired a shot, which struck the teen.
The boy was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to media reports. It is still unclear what led to the shooting or whether the teen was armed.
