Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash On I-94 In Wayne County: Police

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was hit and killed on Interstate 94 in Wayne County last weekend, according to police.

The crash happened at 1:54 a.m. Sunday along the North Interstate 94 Service Drive near Independence Lane, west of Archwood Apartments, in Van Buren Township, according to police.

Officers found 37-year-old Michael James Przytula in the roadway with extensive injuries, according to police.

Huron Valley Ambulance officials arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene, according to police.

Investigators canvassed the scene and collected evidence, including fresh accident debris. They did not, however, release any details about a suspected driver.
