Duluth-Area Native Dies In Devil’s Lake Climbing Accident
Audrie Pelosi, 30, had worked at Ski Hut in Duluth before moving to Baraboo, where she became part of the local outdoor community.
DULUTH, MN — A Duluth-area native who built her life around climbing, skiing, snowboarding and the outdoors died Saturday in a climbing accident at Devil’s Lake State Park in Wisconsin.
Audrie Lorraine Pelosi, 30, died May 30, according to her obituary from Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
WKOW reported that Pelosi was a Baraboo climbing guide and that her death was confirmed by Sauk County officials.

Pelosi was born Feb. 19, 1996, in the Duluth area, according to her obituary. She later moved to Baraboo after marrying Jimmy "The Fox" Robinson in 2023.
Pelosi worked several jobs connected to the outdoor community, including at Ski Hut in Duluth, Viking Ski Shop in Chicago, Wildside Action Sports in Baraboo, Downtown Baraboo Inc., Bella Vita Coffee and Apex Adventure Alliance, according to her obituary.

"Audrie loved the outdoors, especially skiing and snowboarding," her obituary states. "She also loved rock climbing and had a passion for introducing others to the sport."
Devil’s Lake State Park, near Baraboo, is one of Wisconsin’s best-known climbing areas.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home in Baraboo. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the service.
A separate Celebration of Life is planned for Duluth, though a date has not yet been announced, according to the obituary.
