Minnesota 2nd District Democratic Primary Results 2026: Matt Little Vs. Matt Klein Vs. Kaela Berg

EAGAN, MN — Polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Minnesota's Second Congressional District, where three Democrats are competing in the primary to succeed U.S. Rep. Angie Craig.

Craig is running for U.S. Senate this year, leaving the seat open.

State Sen. Matt Little of Lakeville is the DFL-endorsed candidate, having won 63 percent of delegate support on the first ballot at the party's convention.

State Sen. Matt Klein ran a competitive campaign without seeking the endorsement.

State Rep. Kaela Berg of Burnsville, a flight attendant, stayed in the race after the convention.

Educator Abdi Abdulle, scientist Hugh McTavish and Christopher Mosel are also on the ballot.
