Hennepin County Fair Announces 2026 Entertainment Lineup, Free Gate Admission, and Free Parking

The Hennepin County Fair is gearing up for an unforgettable weekend June 11- 13, 2026 , and this year’s event is more accessible than ever with free gate admission and free parking for all visitors. Families, neighbors, and fairgoers from across Minnesota are invited to enjoy three days packed with music, food, animals, exhibits, vendors and communityfun.
“Our goal is to create a welcoming, affordable, and memorable experience for everyone,” said Fair Board representatives. “With free admission and parking, plus a full slate of entertainment and activities, this year’s fair truly has something for all ages.”
2026 Entertainment & Attractions Highlights
Iron Exchange – Hosted Beer Garden
Fairgoers 21+ can unwind at the Iron Exchange – hosted beer garden, featuring local brews, shaded seating, and a lively atmosphere right next to the evening entertainment. It’s the ideal spot to relax, meet friends, and enjoy the music.
Thursday Evening: Jonah and the Whales
The fair kicks off with Jonah and the Whales, bringing their high-energy mix of rock, pop, and crowd favorites to the main stage. It’s the perfect way to launch the weekend.
Friday Evening: JT and the Gunslingers
Friday night heats up with JAT and the Gunslingers, delivering their signature blend of country, rock, and Midwest grit – a guaranteed crowd-pleaser that keeps the fairgrounds moving.
Saturday Music Marathon- Starting at 12:00 Noon
Saturday is packed with live music from noon to night, showcasing an incredible lineup of local and regional talent:
