Temps Near 60 Forecast In Coming Days As Twin Cities Warm Up

MINNEAPOLIS — Spring may not officially arrive until later in the month, but it seems no one told Mother Nature, as warm and mild temperatures are forecast to grace the Twin Cities all week, according to the National Weather Service.

High temperatures are forecast to be above 50 degrees in Minneapolis for the next seven days, according to the weather service, with a high near 51 degrees predicted for Tuesday and highs in the mid-50s projected through Friday. Also Friday, there is rain in the forecast, according to the weather service.

By Sunday, the high is expected to be all the way up near 59 degrees, according to the weather service, with a 37-degree overnight low ushering in a slight chance of rain and snow Monday, when the forecast calls mostly for sun and a high near 56 degrees.
