Shooting At Mall In Twin Cities Metro: Police
The incident that led to the shooting involved a group physically fighting in the mall's lower concourse, KSTP reported.
MAPLEWOOD, MN — A man was shot Sunday at the Maplewood Mall, according to police and media reports.
The shooting was not fatal, city officials said in a social media post around 3:20 p.m. Sunday, which provided limited details about the incident.
“The mall will be shut down the rest of the day,” the post said. “There is no danger to the public.”

Officers, who responded around 2 p.m. to the reported shooting, found the victim inside the mall, according to KSTP, which reported the man was in his 20s, struck in the hip and taken to Regions Hospital.
