Bad Checks, Vehicle Break-ins in Kirkwood
Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

Wednesday, Sept. 4:
- Detectives arrested an adult male for writing fourΒ bad checks to a local business in the 300 block of South Kirkwood Road. TheΒ checks were written to the business between the last week of June and theΒ second week of July 2013. The four checks totaled over $90. The cases wereΒ referred to municipal court.
Thursday, Sept. 5:
- Police responded to the 500Β block of East Monroe for a report of property destruction. The resident stated theΒ key lock on his vehicle had been damaged.
Friday, Sept. 6:
- Police responded to the 300 block ofΒ North Taylor for two separate reports of vehicle break-ins. Two victims had theirΒ windows broken out of their cars. Clothing, a purse and a GPS unit were stolen.
