Shoplifting, Tampering Arrests in Kirkwood

Kirkwood Police Department provides information on the latest crime incidents in the area.

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 27:
  • At 10:46 p.m. in the 9000 block of Big BendΒ in Oakland, officers noticed an adult on the parking lot who appeared to beΒ under the influence of narcotics or alcohol. It was determined the suspect wasΒ in possession of a vehicle reported stolen from St. Louis County. TheΒ subject was arrested and charged with tampering. The case was referred to theΒ St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.Β 

Sunday, Sept. 29:
  • Kirkwood Police arrested three adults for shoplifting merchandise from area businesses during the week of Sept. 23-29. The incidents occurred at retail stores in the 1000 and 1200 block ofΒ South Kirkwood Road and 10400 Manchester. The subjects were charged withΒ stealing which were referred to municipal court.
