Stolen Car Recovered, Another Taken in Kirkwood

The following information was provided by the Kirkwood Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 16:

• Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 9000 block of Big Bend in Oakland. The vehicle was reported stolen from Crestwood Sept. 4. The vehicle was towed to impound and Crestwood Police were notified of the recovery.
• Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of South Kirkwood Road. The suspect gained entry to the building. Nothing appeared to be taken.
• A blue 2002 Jeep Liberty was stolen sometime during the overnight hours from the 2300 block of Timberview.
