Legal services is a "Your Money or Your Life" category of business product and service wherein a consumer or injured party will deposit their trust into the hands of an attorney - lawyer that can have life altering consequences.

Quite often an injured party seeking legal representation turns to the internet as the most convenient source of information and listing of available attorneys, lawyers and law firm. --- And there in where the "bait and the hook" may be found.

The "public relations industrial complex" of Avvo, Super Lawyers, USAttorneys, Martindale Hubbell, Missouir Lawyers Media, Even local established news outlets like KSDK News Channel Five cannot be trusted. (More to come on KSDK News Channel Five and their relationship with The Simon Law Firm P.C.) - In summary, these are primarily "Pay for Play" advertisements that cannot be trusted. Many are curated and manipulated by "peer reviews" such as "Super Lawyers" a product of Thomson Reuters. Herein with "Super Lawyers" is a phenomenon where the "peer review" ballot box is stuffed. Quite often the candidate is with a large top tier law firm and they cultivate the votes of small law firm grifters and paralegals hoping for a favor or gratuity from the top tier firm.

A forensic digital audit conducted on June 14, 2026, of the verified Google Business Profile for Friedman Law Firm LLC (6209 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. Ste. 204, St. Charles, MO) reveals significant, documented violations of Google’s core platform policies. While the profile publicly boasts a 4.5-star rating across 8 user submissions, a deeper look confirms that at least 25% of these published reviews are non-organic, non-consumer entries that directly breach Google Maps User Generated Content (UGC) guidelines regarding deceptive practices and conflicts of interest.

Case 1: The B2B Vendor Contamination

A review posted by account holder Jacqueline Bland states, "Attorney Friedman found my services online and trusted me to assist his client on short notice... STL314 Notary Services, LLC." Under Google’s strict UGC guidelines, a consumer-facing Business Profile cannot be used to harvest business-to-business (B2B) vendor metrics. Google’s policy explicitly bars reviews based on a "contractual or consultory relationship, or other professional or personal affiliations that demonstrate a conflict of interest." By her own admission, the reviewer was a hired vendor, not an organic consumer.

Case 2: The Co-Counsel Affiliation

A highly positive review was published by Glennetta Haymon, stating the firm is "very knowledgeable, organized, and articulate." However, public legal records and the Missouri Bar Association directory link Glennetta Haymon (Mo. Bar #69533) as an active co-counsel and attorney of record operating on the exact same legal case as Anthony R. Friedman.

Google’s terms ban reviews from individuals with deep professional affiliations. Because this review omits the material industry relationship and frames the text as an objective consumer recommendation, it distorts facts intended to influence consumer decision-making. Furthermore, as a sworn officer of the court subject to the Missouri Model Rules of Professional Conduct (Rule 4), a licensed attorney has a heightened duty to honesty, raising serious questions regarding the ethical implications and potential "Negligent Referral" tort liability in fee-sharing agreements.

Brick-and-Mortar vs. Residential Realities

The integrity issues extend beyond the review section. Public data and consumer feedback indicate that Friedman Law Firm LLC does not maintain a physical brick-and-mortar infrastructure with active, supporting corporate staff at the advertised Mid Rivers Mall Drive suite. Instead, evidence indicates the entity has historically operated out of a private residential zone—potentially in conflict with local municipal planning and zoning ordinances.

Furthermore, while the firm's corporate description utilizes plural pronouns ("we," "us," "our") to project the scale of a multi-attorney firm, internal verification indicates the operation is an individual solo practice with no secondary attorneys or active on-site administrative infrastructure.

Journalistic Conclusion

When 25% of a law firm's public reviews shift from authentic client feedback into coordinated B2B or co-counsel endorsements, the consumer star-rating ecosystem breaks down. Google's explicit policies label this behavior as Fake Engagement, exposing the verified profile to algorithmic penalties, review stripping, or outright suspension. For a "Your Money or Your Life" service like legal representation, local consumers deserve complete transparency.
