Reynol Guzman-Garcia opened the Arthur Murray Dance Center Franchise in Centennial Hills in January 2024 after a successful career as a teacher and pro-am dance competitor with the Arthur Murray Dance Center in Las Vegas. The arduous training and support from Arthur Murray Dance Studio Franchisees of Las Vegas and Henderson, Justin McClendon and Tiffany Higgins prepared him for the new journey and adventure of owning his own school.

"At first I thought I'd try to do things my own way" says Reynol, "but then I realized quickly that the Arthur Murray system of teaching and running a successful business has been around for over 100 years and maybe I should pay attention " he chuckled.

Reynol was born in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba's second largest city, known for it's vibrant Afro-Cuban culture. He came from an artistic family; his father was a dancer and his mother was an extraordinary singer and dancer. Their home was always filled with music. As a young man he became part of a dance/show troop called Havana Nights- which not only had a residency at the Stardust Casino in Las Vegas, but toured the country as well. When the show came to a close, Guzman-Garcia returned to Las Vegas to look for work. It was soon after his return he was introduced to the Arthur Murray Dance Studio-then located on Maryland Parkway and was interviewed for a position by Tiffany Higgins.

"Rey was very talented in dancing, and was able to start teaching Latin dances right away with his vast knowledge from his training in Cuba, however, he barely spoke a word of English! Most of the training he received from us right away was how to form the sentences to teach properly. His students were his best English teachers, helping him learn new words and phrases in the dance lessons" states Higgins. "He's very fluent now and all of the students really love him. "He still has some of the same students that he started teaching 15 years ago! " says Higgins.
