Arthur Murray Dance Studio Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary In Las Vegas
The Arthur Murray Dance Studio has become a staple in the local dance scene, a successful operation offering dance classes for all ages.
Las Vegas, NV - Arthur Murray Dance Studio is proud to announce its 15 year anniversary of ownership in Las Vegas. The renowned dance studio has been providing high-quality dance instruction, award winning instructors and entertainment to the Las Vegas community since its inception.
Arthur Murray Dance Studio originally began in Las Vegas in 1980 purchased by Leonard Theiss and later purchased by Greg Darrough. In 2011, it was sold to franchise owners Tiffany Higgins and Justin McClendon who had been teachers and employees at the time, and who dreamed of owning their own dance studio. In 2017 the studio was moved to Wigwam Parkway to a state of the art facility in Henderson.
On April 24th, Arthur Murray Dance Studio held an anniversary party, complete with dance exhibitions, music and dancing for the students, refreshments and a celebration of their continued success.

The Arthur Murray Dance Studio has also expanded to the North and West of Las Vegas, opening a studio on S. Durango run by co-owner Justin McClendon and the newest location in Centennial Hills owned by former dancer and Arthur Murray teacher Reynold Guzman.

Over the past 15 years, the Arthur Murray Dance Studio has not only taught thousands of students how to dance, but it has also become a hub for socializing and building a sense of community. The studio has hosted numerous charity events, dance competitions, and themed parties, bringing people together through the joy of dance.

Founded in 1912 by Arthur Murray (born Moses Teichman), Arthur Murray International is one of the world's oldest and most prominent dance franchise organizations, famously popularizing social dancing through innovative marketing and television. It evolved from mail-order lessons into a global network of over 300 studios in 19 countries, notably featuring the "Arthur Murray Dance Party" television show in the 1950s.
