Bedford Rotary Spotlighted Ministry Serving Women Escaping Exploitation

BEDFORD, NH — Jasmine Grace, founder and director of Beauty From Ashes Ministry, spoke recently at a Bedford, NH Rotary Club meeting about the group’s work with women and mothers affected by sex trafficking, prostitution, trauma, and addiction.

Beauty From Ashes Ministry is survivor-led and delivers holistic care aimed at helping women break free from exploitation and addiction. The ministry serves women and mothers as they work to rebuild their lives.

Grace also founded Bags of Hope, described in the announcement as the outreach program of Beauty From Ashes Ministry in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Several local community groups and organizations help provide the org with “purple bags full of basic items that we take for granted every day,” for women affected by trafficking, prostitution, addiction and homelessness.

Attributed additional support services “provide exit strategies, bible studies, Christ-centered recovery groups, mentoring and trainings,” according to Grace.

The ministry’s restorative home, Living Hope Farms, was also part of Grace’s presentation. The home, also founded by Grace, is described as a safe, faith-based place where women can rebuild their lives through healing, community and vocational training.

According to the announcement, Living Hope Farms provides rent-free community living for up to 12 women and their children for up to 24 months. The program is intended to help residents secure economic empowerment and rebuild what the announcement called a happy, healthy life.
