The Color Blast Fun Run/Walk is Back!

The Bedford Parent Teacher Group (PTG) will once again bring a burst of color and community spirit to town with the return of its annual Color Blast Fun Run/Walk. The Color Blast is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m. on the Bedford High School campus and supports of Bedford’s public schools.
Now a popular local tradition, the event draws hundreds of participants each year for a lively, family-friendly 2-mile course. Participants of all ages can run, walk, dance, skip, or stroll through a series of color stations where they are BLASTED with vibrant color powder. Attendees are encouraged to wear white, transforming into colorful works of art by the time they reach the finish line.
Festivities will continue beyond the course with a Finish Festival featuring music, balloon creations, face painting, a photo station, food trucks, and raffle prize announcements. The post-race celebration offers an opportunity for families and friends to gather and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
The event is made possible thanks to the generous support of many local businesses, including presenting sponsors London Family Orthodontics, Southern NH Internal Medicine Associates, and Lindner Dental Associates. Proceeds from the Color Blast benefit more than 3,900 students across Bedford’s six public schools, serving grades pre-kindergarten through 12.
The Bedford PTG, a nonprofit organization, provides enriching educational opportunities and community events for the staff, students, and families in the Bedford School District and supports the individual needs of the schools. Through its fundraising efforts, the group helps bring a variety of programs into schools, including visits from artists, authors, musicians, and motivational speakers; as well as hosting events that address topics important to students, families and the community.
