Concord Police Probe Crash Into Target Store Entrance On D’Amante Drive: Follow-Up

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and firefighters responded to the Target store at 80 D’Amante Drive on Monday after a vehicle crashed into the front entrance, sending three occupants to the hospital.

The Concord Police Department and Concord Fire Department responded at about 5:15 p.m. to investigate what police described as a single-vehicle traffic accident. According to the police statement, the driver of a silver Kia Soul drove into the front entrance of the store, causing heavy damage to the vehicle and moderate damage to the building’s entrance area.

Police said the vehicle was occupied by a male driver, a woman passenger who was pregnant, and a child. All three were transported to Concord Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The extent of those injuries was unknown, Lt. Thomas Yerkes of the Concord Police Department.

No other pedestrians or vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the statement. The Concord Target store remains open.
