Driver Sent To Concord Hospital After SUV, Mustang Collide On Sheep Davis Road: Video

CONCORD, NH — The driver of a Ford Mustang involved in a collision on Route 106 on Friday morning was taken to the hospital.

Around 11:45 a.m., police dispatch began receiving reports of a crash on Sheep Davis Road. The crash involved a Ford Mustang and a Toyota bZ SUV. Other officers were requested to deal with traffic and move vehicles around the crash, which was in the middle of the road.

Northbound traffic was temporarily turned around between Sam’s Club and the Granite State Credit Union.

Several officers were also sent to Heights Road for a report of an out-of-control teenager who reportedly assaulted a parent and fled the scene. The child was found later and, after being interviewed, was taken to the hospital for observation.

The driver of the Mustang, a man from Londonderry, was stuck in the vehicle, so Concord fire and rescue teams were requested to the scene. The other driver was a woman from Epsom, according to scanner chatter.

Around 12:15 p.m., firefighters were able to remove the door of the Mustang and free the driver. He was put on a stretcher and put in an ambulance for transportation. The woman driving the Toyota did not require treatment.

Tow trucks were requested to the scene around 12:30 p.m. The crash scene was completely cleared just before 1:30 p.m.
