Man From Allenstown Indicted On Strangulation, Gun Threat, Witness Tampering Charges: County Court Roundup

Plus: Pittsfield thief indicted on a new theft charge; habitual offenders indicted; Franklin woman indicted on theft charge.

CONCORD, NH — A grand jury in Merrimack County recently indicted the individuals listed below.

Kimberly Corcoran, 39, of Canal Street in Allenstown, on three counts of operating while deemed a habitual offender and two possession of controlled drugs-subsequent charges, clonazepam and zolpidem, all felonies. She was accused of driving on Granite Street in Allenstown on Oct. 16, 2025; on Main Street in Hooksett on Nov. 14, 2025; and on Hooksett Road in Hooksett on Jan. 13, after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV. The drug charges were connected to an incident in Hooksett on Jan. 13. Corcoran was previously convicted of control of premises in Strafford County Superior Court in June 2021.

Danne M. Dawson, 49, of Ferry Street in Allenstown, on a felony count of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-meth on June 27, 20025, in Allenstown.

Kimberly Desmarais, 42, of Federal Street in Concord, on two felony counts of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-fentanyl and meth on Sept. 16, 2025, in Concord.

Brian David Duval, 47, of Lafayette Street in Allenstown, on second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence, domestic violence-deadly weapon, second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence-attempt, and tampering with witnesses and informants charges, all felonies. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner and pointing a firearm at her on Jan. 30 in Allenstown. On Feb. 5, he contacted her and told her, “Tell them that I didn’t strangle you, and there was no gun, then they have to release me,” according to the indictment.

Samantha J. Shurtleff, 38, of Route 4 in Danbury, on two felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited charges, fentanyl and methamphetamine, on July 7, 2025, in Franklin.

Carl D. Soderberg, 58, of Leavitt Road in Pittsfield, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He was accused of stealing merchandise from Danis Supermarket in Pittsfield on Jan. 22. Previously, according to the indictment, Soderberg had been convicted of theft twice.

Joseph D. Thrasher, 34, of Horse Corner Road in Chichester, on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on South Main Street in Franklin on Jan. 26 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Hannah M. Towers, 26, of River Street in Franklin, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Concord on Jan. 10.

Chad M. Turck, 39, of Shackford Corner Road in Barnstead, on possession of psilocin and psilocybin, possession of amphetamine, and possession of meth charges, all felonies, on Jan. 28, 2025, in Pittsfield.

Travis Vallee, 37, of Fair Street in Laconia, on a felony motor vehicles; penalties charge. He was accused of driving on Grove Street in Concord on Feb. 3 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Shaun D. White, 46, of Manchester Street in Concord, on a felony count of stalking. He was accused of showing up at a woman’s home when not invited, more than once in a single day, and banging on the door on Jan. 9 in Concord. Previously, according to the indictment, White was convicted of stalking in Laconia District Court during the past seven years.
