Merrimack County Savings Bank Hires Lester to Lead Henniker Branch

The Merrimack County has hired Mark Lester as branch and business development manager in Henniker.

HENNIKER, NH — Merrimack County Savings Bank has hired Mark Lester as assistant vice president and branch and business development manager of its Henniker branch.

In the role, Lester will oversee branch operations and work with local businesses, according to the bank.

“We’re pleased to have Mark join our team and the Henniker community,” Michelle Olivier, regional vice president and branch manager at Merrimack County Savings Bank, said. “With his deep expertise in banking and past leadership experience, I’m confident Mark will thrive in this role.”

Lester has two decades of experience in the banking industry and has served in assistant vice president and vice president branch manager positions. He is a graduate of the New England School for Financial Studies, a two-year banking program.

A New Hampshire native, Lester has served on boards for nonprofit organizations and is a longtime member and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Concord. He has also participated in Hoops on Wheels for Granite State Independent Living and Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes for Thrive Survivor Support Center, which named him the recipient of its Fleischman Award in 2024.
