This estimated one-time cash payout is anticipated to be $244.2 million, before taxes.

"It’s not quite Saint Patrick’s Day, but here at the New Hampshire Lottery, we’re hoping one of our players is lucky enough to win this half-a-billion-dollar Mega Millions jackpot," Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said.

McIntyre said sales typically increase once the jackpot surpasses the $500 million mark, both at retailers statewide and online through NH iLottery. McIntyre expressed hope for a New Hampshire winner on Tuesday night.

The current Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since December 2025. At that time, a player in New Jersey purchased a $90 million jackpot-winning ticket. There have been 27 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner since then.
