 is a rare space that is open to the public only several times a 
year....Come to the Open House during the Street Fair to see the walls 
that have survived over 160 years of history. The pigments were mixed by hand and the complex perspective was mapped out by candle light.&nbsp; Will your eye be able to 
see where the flat wall "ends" and the illusion begins? 
Which items are painted on the flat wall?&nbsp; &nbsp; 
a) the curtains &nbsp; &nbsp; b) the chair&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;c) the columns&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;d) the pedestals
HINT: two of the above choices are part of the 1860 "Trick the Eye" mural (pictured above). Come to the open house to see this wall that has survived over 160 years of history.

Step back in time as you learn about the Drakes of "Drakesville" (originally of Hampton)...Find the locations of the hotel and stagecoach stop...four stores...an oyster saloon....and a Masonic Temple. It was a hopping corner!&nbsp; 
We will meet at EPS at 11:45 and end at the Historic Town Hall in time to see the famous 1860's "Trick the Eye" Murals.Field Parking available near the library.
