Borg was hired in 1997 as a head cook after working in the travel industry. She has served as food services director since 2004. The district said she is known as a supportive, responsible, and caring member of the staff and leadership team, and that many of the initiatives she brings to the school are driven by her philosophy, “healthy kids equals healthy minds.” Borg and her husband live in Hampton and have three grown children who live in the area.

Griffin began her career at Marston School as a third-grade teacher in 1997 and has served as library media specialist since 2001, according to the district. The district said she has hosted many authors and book fairs and contributed to events including fifth-grade performances, field day, cricket tournaments, and the Variety Show. She also said she has been praised for her work on holiday parades, the Schools of Excellence application and site visit, and the Marston School Playground Project. Colleagues have called her “hardworking,” “an integral member of the staff,” and “Goddess of the Media Center.”

Liebenow first worked as secretary at Barnard School in South Hampton before serving at Centre School, according to the district. The district said she brought significant private sector experience to SAU90 and is valued by fellow staff members for her “wonderful presence, kind and considerate ways,” and the care she has shown for others in the school community. Liebenow is also a grandmother to several current Hampton students and will continue to be an active member of the school community.

The district has invited community members to attend the June 4 tea to mark the three retirements.
