NH Man Killed On Interstate 93 By Passing Car After Fleeing Troopers, New Hampshire State Police Say

The man was struck on the Interstate after a chase with troopers and a crash on the Hanover Street Connector in Manchester, Wednesday night.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Queen City man is dead after reportedly fleeing from state police and being hit by a car on Interstate 93 in Manchester on Wednesday night.

Around 11:45 p.m., state police attempted to stop the driver of a 2026 Toyota Camry on Interstate 93 north in Manchester for driving at a high rate of speed. The driver refused to stop and was pursued by the trooper. Later, the chase was discontinued after the car left the highway at Exit 6.

Not long after, state police said, the car was seen on the Hanover Street Connector, where it crashed. The trooper approached the scene, and the driver of the car fled the area on foot, climbed the embankment to the Interstate, and entered the northbound lane of traffic, according to the report. The man was then struck by the driver of a Hyundai Elantra, a man from Epsom, state police said.
