As we commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary, join us for an evening where music becomes a living timeline, as a powerful chorus of nearly 50 voices brings the American story to life. From the inspiring words of Abraham Lincoln in Phyllis White Wolfe’s “Resolved”, to the contributions of farmers and migrant workers in Pete Seeger’s “Pastures of Plenty”, the concert weaves together moments of struggle, triumph, identity, and unity, offering audiences opportunities for both reflection and celebration. A salute to the men and women who have served our country through the ages will include A Tribute to the Armed Services and the heartfelt memorial In Flanders Fields.

The program includes the stirring strains of Battle Hymn of the Republic (arr. Wilhousky), transporting listeners to the heart of the Civil War. From there, the mood shifts westward with Home on the Range, featuring a special harmonica performance by Jim Kostuk, evoking the vast landscapes and resilient spirit of early pioneers. Featured vocalist Mia Orengo-Santiago will join the chorus for a special version of This Land Is Your Land/America the Beautiful, while strength and resilience shine through in the spirituals Hold On and Rollo Dillworth’s I Dream a World.

Join the Souhegan Valley Chorus, The Valleyaires, and our guest soloists for an uplifting celebration of we, the people, the voices who built a nation.

Tickets available in advance from members or at the door.  $20-Adults,  $15-Students & Seniors and Ages 12 and under-Free
