• Remember and reflect 25 years after 9/11 with events throughout the state (wmur.com) — Milford will mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a remembrance ceremony at Memorial Park starting at 8 a.m., followed by the tolling of the Paul Revere bell at 8:46 a.m. Similar observances and new memorial unveilings are planned in several other New Hampshire communities throughout the day.
   

• Peterborough library to host discussion on Declaration of Independence (keenesentinel.com) — A longtime Milford High School civics teacher will lead a free, nonpartisan discussion on the Declaration of Independence at Peterborough Town Library on Saturday, Sept. 19. Residents can explore the document's language, historical context, and modern relevance as part of New Hampshire's 250th anniversary observances of American independence.
