Nashua Man Indicted On 8 Child First-Degree Assault Charges: Hillsborough County Superior Court Indictments
Plus: Burglar faces new burglary charge, knife possession charge; woman indicted on wrong-way driving turnpike crash; drug sale indictments.

NASHUA, NH — A grand jury in Hillsborough County recently indicted the individuals listed below.
Jorge Alvarado, 47, of Hanover Court in Manchester, on two felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking. He worked in concert with Joseph Haywood to steal sunglasses from the Sunglass Hunt in Nashua on April 26, 2025, and merchandise from Aerie in Nashua on May 1, 2025, according to the indictments.
Drew Babcock, 36, of an unknown address in Nashua, on eight first-degree assault-domestic violence charges. He was accused of squeezing and applying pressure to the back of a newborn child, causing serious bodily injuries, including fractured ribs, femurs, and clavicle, between Dec. 10, 2025, and March 12 in Nashua.

Aaron Cooper Bond, 27, of Central Street in Nashua, on two felony counts of controlled drug act; acts prohibited, clonazepam and cocaine, on Dec. 11, 2025, in Nashua.
Madison Bryson-Poliquin, 22, of Echo Avenue in Nashua, on reckless conduct and two second-degree assault charges, all felonies. She was accused of driving dangerously, traveling southbound on the northbound side of the Everett Turnpike in Nashua at a high rate of speed on Feb. 1, causing injuries to others after a crash. Richard D’Amico III, 26, of Linwood Street in Nashua, on a felony count of burglary. He was accused of burglarizing Bella Variety in Nashua on Aug. 31, 2025.

Christopher Melvin-Dube, 29, of Lock Street in Nashua, on a felony sale of crack cocaine charge. He was accused of selling less than 1 gram of the drug to an agent of the Nashua police on Feb. 3, 2025.
Gary B. Mercer, 31, incarcerated at the Hillsborough County Jail at the time of the indictment, on burglary and pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing a folding knife and burglarizing an apartment on Dakota Drive in Hudson on Sept. 11, 2025. Mercer is a felon due to a burglary conviction in Carroll County Superior Court in June 2018.
Matthew Mann, 40, of no fixed address in Nashua, on felon in possession and two controlled drug acts; acts prohibited-intent to sell, fentanyl and cocaine charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing a switchblade knife, more than half an ounce of cocaine, and three baggies of fentanyl. Mann is a felon due to a possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute conviction in Middlesex County Superior Court in October 2007.
Adam Money, 37, of Cathedral Lane in Hudson, on a felony controlled drug act; acts prohibited-methamphetamine charge on Jan. 5, 2024, in Nashua. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted of possession in January 2019 in Rockingham County Superior Court.
Antwaun Roach-Baptiste, 37, of Park Street in West Haven, Connecticut, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. He acted in concert with Tyler Paolini to steal more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from Home Depot in Nashua, according to the indictment.
Marques Stanford, 37, of no fixed address in Nashua, on two felony counts of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-cocaine and fentanyl, and a felony count of controlled drug act; acts prohibited-buprenorphine-with intent to sell on Feb. 9 in Nashua. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted on a possession charge in January 2018 in Hills South.
