Nashua Workshop To Cover Online Banking, Budgeting And Scam Prevention
The free April 28 session at the YMCA of Greater Nashua will cover online banking, budgeting tools and scam prevention.

NASHUA, NH — Residents can sign up for a free workshop later this month at the YMCA of Greater Nashua focused on online banking and money management.
The org will host the beginner-friendly session at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, at 24 Stadium Drive as part of its Confident Online series.
According to the organization, the workshop is designed for community members of all experience levels and will focus on practical tools for managing routine financial tasks online. The session will cover online banking basics, paying bills electronically, using budgeting tools, and protecting personal and financial information from fraud and scams.

United Way of Greater Nashua said the program will be presented by Julie Beckham and Alka Sen of Rockland Trust Bank. The organization said the presenters bring experience in consumer banking and financial education.
Workshop topics are expected to include understanding online and mobile banking tools, safely paying bills and managing accounts online, using digital budgeting and money management tools, and learning ways to avoid common scams. “Financial technology can feel overwhelming, especially when safety is a concern,” Sara Ceaser, the United Way Director of Volunteer and Community Engagement, said. “This workshop offers clear, friendly guidance to help participants manage their money online with confidence and peace of mind.”
United Way of Greater Nashua said the Confident Online series is supported by sponsors, including Comcast, and is intended to make digital literacy education accessible across the Greater Nashua community. The nonprofit said its broader work focuses on education, financial stability, health, and digital literacy.
According to the organization, United Way of Greater Nashua was founded in 1929 and serves residents of Greater Nashua. It describes itself as an independent 510(c)3 nonprofit and said its mission is to support health, education, and financial stability in the community.
