The new Manchester base will replace the organization’s previous operation in Portsmouth. The Portsmouth base had been transporting patients since March 2025. The transition establishes Manchester as Boston MedFlight’s primary base for southern New Hampshire. The relocation is intended to support the organization's operational readiness and response time. Boston MedFlight transports more than 800 patients from the region each year. The new base aims to enhance these services.

New Hampshire EMS agencies with questions about the transition or general operations can contact ManchesterCommunityRelations@bostonmedflight.org. Agencies interested in establishing coordination ahead of the March transition date are also encouraged to contact this email address.
