Goodwin Community Health To Offer Free School, Sports Physicals Saturday
The physicals are part of a "Ride the Wave of Wellness" event in Somersworth, including vendors and tables from other community orgs.
SOMERSWORTH, NH — Goodwin Community Health, one of the two community health centers serving the Greater Seacoast region, will offer free school/sports physicals on Saturday, Aug. 9.
This event is open to the public; children and teens do not need to be patients at Goodwin Community Health. Advance signup is available by calling 603-516-2551 or by following the link from the home page at GetCommunityHealth.org. Walk-in visits are also available as time allows, between 8 a.m. and noon.
The physicals are part of a “Ride the Wave of Wellness” event, including vendors and tables from other community organizations supporting adolescent health and wellness.

Goodwin Community Health is part of Greater Seacoast Community Health, which also includes Families First Health & Support Center in Portsmouth, as well as the Strafford County Public Health Network, WIC, and The Family Center. Greater Seacoast offers a wide range of services, including primary care, pediatrics, dental care, prenatal care, behavioral health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, mobile health services, WIC nutrition programs, social work, parenting classes, playgroups, and home visiting. Services are open to everyone — all ages, all income levels, insured and uninsured ‚ and are offered in a respectful, recovery-friendly, LGBTQ+-affirming, and trauma-informed manner.
