Londonderry, Portsmouth, Milford, Salem, And Souhegan Wrestlers Post Wins Around New Hampshire: Roundup
Wrestlers from Bishop Guertin, Bow, Exeter, Manchester, Nashua, and other schools also battled in bouts on Wednesday.

PORTSMOUTH, NH — As the wrestling season begins to come to a close (state championships for junior varsity wrestlers will be held on Feb. 14, followed by three weeks of varsity championships, from division to state to New England), schools and wrestlers are working to get their final bouts in.
Wednesday was a busy night for Granite State competitions. Here are some results from nearly 20 meets across New Hampshire.
Clippers Take Tomahawks In Tight Win, 48-34
Portsmouth beat Merrimack on Wednesday. In the 120, Sara Snavely of Merrimack won by tech fall, 17-0. In the 126, Carter Kuhn of Portsmouth won by pin. Caleb Grandmaison of Merrimack, in the 132, won by tech fall, 19-2. AJ Craig of Portsmouth in the 138 won by fall as did Mikey Shortill in the 150. Stephen Whisler of Portsmouth in the 165 won by pin. Nicolin Stevens of Merrimack won by pin in the 175. In the 215, Hunter Griffin of Portsmouth pinned his opponent, as did Evan Cook of Portsmouth in the 285. Portsmouth had three forfeit wins while Merrimack had two.

There were also three extra matches, with Shortfill winning 11-7, and Louis Lavoie of Portsmouth and Cook defeating unknown opponents.
Lancers Barely Skewer Blue Hawks, 47-31
Londonderry came away with a win against Exeter on Wednesday.

Reid Grandmason of Exeter in the 113 won by tech fall, 15-0. In the 120, Cam Roussell of Londonderry won by tech fall, 18-2. Lucas Trafton of Exeter won by major decision in the 126, 15-2. Ayden Murray of Londonderry pinned his opponent in the 138, as did Colin Egan of Londonderry in the 144 and Caleb Holden in the 150 for Londonderry. Ryan Mikulsky of Exeter won by pin in the 157. In the 175, Avery Niemi of Exeter won by pin, while Tyler Niemi of Exeter in the 190 won by major decision, 14-3. Joseph Rose of Londonderry in the 215 also won by pin.
The Lancers also won two bouts by forfeit, while Exeter won a single bout by forfeit.
Milford Bested Alvirne, 58-16
The Spartans pulled off a big win against the Broncos on Monday.
In the 106, Mason Verrocchio of Alvirne pinned his opponent. Colton Schuster of Milford, in the 113, won by tech fall, 15-0. Milford won the next eight matches: Kiernan Lordan in the 120 by fall, Max Hammerstrom in the 126 by pin, Cameron Stickney in the 132 by tech fall, 17-1, Francisco Juvera in the 138 by pin, Calix Lajoie in the 144 by pin, Tanner Herbert by fall in the 150, Phillip Wright in the 157 by fall, and Jace Wilhelmi in the 165 by pin. Alvirne then won the next three bouts: In the 175, Joseph Lydon beat his opponent, 11-6, Quintin Tetreault won in the 190, SV-1 4-1, and Marcus Bain in the 215 won by major decision, 10-2. Jameson Noble of Milford then pinned his opponent in the 285.
Blue Devils Beat Titans, 66-16
Salem wrestlers had a solid night against Nashua North on Wednesday, winning all but three matches, three by forfeit.
In the 106, Landon Middlemiss of Salem pinned his opponent. Sebastian Ochoa of Nashua then pinned his opponent in the 126. Jacob Haibowicz at 132 and Trevor O’Brien at 138, both of Salem, pinned their opponents. Trayvon Moore of Nashua then won his bout by pin in the 144. Kayden Vallerand-Kenneally, in the 150, won by major decision, 18-7. Salem then won the next three matches by fall: Carter Lemire in the 157, Micah Howard in the 165, and John Vargas in the 175. Jack McElroy in the 215 and Liam Sweeney in the 285, both of Salem, then pinned their Nashua opponents.
The Sabers Rattle Blue Knights And Cavaliers
Souhegan beat both Hollis Brookline, 41-35, and Manchester West, 58-21, on Wednesday.
Against HB, Jack Kaler in the 132 pinned his opponent, while Landon Carson in the 138 won by major decision, 17-5, and Chase Knuckles won by tech fall, 20-2, in the 144. Alex Sarfde in the 150 won, 9-7, while Marcus Stout in the 157 won by tech fall, 20-2. Patrick Casey in the 175 and Micah Dibble in the 190 for Souhegan both won by falls. Each team also had a forfeit win.
In extra matches, Jaiden Watts in the 132 and Brennon Mielke in the 157 won by falls.
Against West, Souhegan had four forfeit wins while West only had one. In the 106, Angel Diaz won by fall. Saddrudin Zahid of West won by decision in the 126, 12-9. Kaler pinned his opponent in the 138, as did Carson in the 144. Knuckles won in the 150 by major decision, 9-1. Stout won by fall in the 157. Tristan Sar of West pinned his opponent in the 175. Dibble won by pin in the 190, as did Gabe Holt in the 215 for Souhegan.
In extra matches, Zuhorudin Zahid of Manchester won by pin in the 138, while Mielke of Souhegan pinned his West opponent.

Timbo Beats Nashua South, 70-9
Timberlane Regional easily beat the Purple Panthers on Wednesday, including eight by falls. Benjamin Byrne in the 157-pound category was the only non-forfeit win for Nashua, with a 12-5 decision. Timberlane had three wins by forfeit, while Nashua South had one.
Other Results
Pinkerton Academy beat Spaulding, 65-12.
Winnisquam Regional beat Plymouth Regional, 48-30.
Goffstown downed Bishop Guertin, 55-21.
Campbell beat Pelham, 44-36.
Bow won against John Stark Regional, 63-9, as well as Hillsboro, 6-4, and Hopkinton, 3-0.
Raymond bested Franklin, 48-18.
Mascenic won against Conant, 54-18, and Monadnock, 51-17.
