DOVER, NH — Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., said it has added a chief financial officer as it continues to expand across New England.

The firm announced April 6 that Kevin DiGiovanni has joined its C-suite as CFO in the Dover office.

The announcement comes as Shaheen & Gordon marks its 45th anniversary in 2026. The firm has 10 offices, more than 70 attorneys and is approaching 200 total employees. The firm also said it was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in New England by The Boston Globe in a list published March 18.

“Our growth from two founders and two small offices has been an amazing journey,” D. Michael Noonan, the CEO and Managing Partner of Shaheen & Gordon, said. “We’re actually not out to be the biggest firm in the world; we’re just looking to find talented people, lawyers and non-lawyers, to take on the work that’s coming our way and do it right.”

Shaheen & Gordon said building infrastructure to support that growth has been a key focus. In 2023, the firm added a chief operating officer, who has since helped build out a full team of HR, IT, Marketing, and other operational staff, according to the release.

The firm said DiGiovanni brings more than 20 years of law firm experience. According to the release, he has worked with multiple large firms in Boston on financial operations, treasury functions and collaboration across administrative teams.

“Shaheen & Gordon is a firm with a very distinct and impressive culture,” DiGiovanni said. “And as they have grown, they’ve kept a focus on maintaining the elements that make them unique. I am eager to see how the firm’s legacy of community-centered legal excellence continues to expand with additional financial guidance and infrastructure.”

The release said Shaheen & Gordon’s operations have become more complex as the firm has expanded its practice areas and jurisdictions while trying to maintain what it described as a personable culture. The firm said the additional executive leadership is intended to support client service and employee workplace support.

Founded in New Hampshire in 1981, Shaheen & Gordon said it remains focused on personalized service, legal advocacy, and community engagement. Its practice areas listed in the release include personal injury and workers’ compensation, criminal and DWI/DUI defense, divorce and family law, trusts and estates, business law, real estate law, immigration law, litigation, and mediation and arbitration.
