Salem's Supervisors Of The Checklist Meet Saturday Morning
New voters can register at the municipal office building for the upcoming town election scheduled for March 10.

SALEM, NH — The Supervisors of the Checklist of Salem will be in session between 9 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, on the lower level of the municipal office building for the purpose of registering new voters for the upcoming town election.
Registered voters may also make changes or corrections to their existing data or switch their party affiliations at this session. This will be the last opportunity for a resident of Salem to register to vote if he/she wants their name to appear on the checklist that will be used for the town election on Tuesday, March 10.
Prospective new voters need to be 18 years of age and are required to present a picture ID, such as a driver’s license, proof of domicile, and proof of citizenship. A driver’s license is acceptable for the picture ID and domicile. For proof of citizenship, a birth certificate or a United States passport will work. Naturalized citizens must present documentation of citizenship and a United States passport.

Residents may also register to vote with the Town Clerk at any time during regular office hours through Feb. 27. Copies of the current voter checklist are available to view at the Kelley Library reference desk and at the town clerk’s office.
