Worcester Man Indicted On Hampton Use Of Deepfakes Charges: Rockingham County Superior Court Indictments
Man from Methuen accused of selling meth; Salem man indicted on strangulation charge; Billerica man indicted in Londonderry burglary case.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A grand jury in Rockingham County recently indicted the individuals listed below.
Andrew Courchaine, 27, of Sterling Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, on four felony counts of fraudulent use of deepfakes. He was accused of creating, distributing, and presenting a video of an identifiable person to embarrass, harass, or defame them on Oct. 20, Oct. 31, Nov. 7, and Nov. 13, 2025, in Hampton.
Brooke Bailey Merrill, 27, of North Main Street in Derry, on two felony counts of falsifying physical evidence as well as a false report to law enforcement charge. She was accused of submitting screenshots of text messages with portions of the conversation blurred on Oct. 23 and presented a handwritten list of statements to a public servant she knew to be false Nov. 5, 2025, in Derry. Merrill purported to give false information to police that she had observed another person in possession of nude photos of a juvenile, to get the officer to believe the person possessed child sexual abuse images, according to one of the indictments.

Ali Hugo Nunez, 29, of Pope Road in Atkinson, on two felony counts of nonsupport. He was accused of failing to provide child support on Feb. 24, 2025, as ordered to by the Salem District Court.
Paul Joseph Ouellette II, 32, of Morningside Court in Salem, on a felony count of second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on Feb. 13 in Salem.

Scott James Peters, 38 of John Brown Road in Center Barnstead, on possession of buprenorphine and delivery or articles prohibited-buprenorphine charges, both felonies, at the Rockingham County Jail in Brentwood on Sept. 12, 2025.
Heath Quinno, 46, of Pearl Court in Methuen, MA, on sale of a controlled drug-methamphetamine, possession of a controlled drug-meth with intent to sell, possession of meth, possession of MDMA, and possession of ketamine charges, all felonies. The sale charge was from May 20 and involved a confidential source working with the Salem police, according to an indictment. Quinno was accused of intent to sell and possession after an incident in Salem on June 9, 2025.

Matthew Paul Ranucci, 39, of Daniel Finn Circle in Billerica, MA, on a felony burglary charge. He was accused of burglarizing an Avery Road structure in Londonderry on April 18, 2025.
Juan Rendon Roja, 19, of Thornton Street in East Boston, MA, on a felony count of robbery. He was accused of using force while stealing merchandise from Macy’s at the Mall at Rockingham Park on Dec. 27, 2025.
Rodney Santiago-Romero, 35, of Abbott Street in Lawrence, MA, on forgery and attempted theft by deception. He was accused of uttering a $1,650 check drawn on another's TD Bank account on Oct. 30, 2025, and attempting to cash it.
Stephen Richard Smith Jr., 46, of Morway Drive in Londonderry, on a felony count of failure to comply with sexual offender registration requirements. He was accused of failing to notify Londonderry police he was released from incarceration at the Hillsborough County Jail on Dec. 4, 2025.
Thomas Francis Stanley, 51, of Old County Road in Plaistow, on theft by unauthorized taking and theft of lost or mislaid property charges, both felonies. He was accused of controlling a wallet and its contents from a shopping cart in Plaistow on Dec. 12, 2025.
Richard Bowman Stone, 74, of Royal Range Road in Sandown, on a felony count of criminal threatening-deadly weapon and a criminal threatening charge. He was accused of grabbing a pair of scissors and pointing toward another person and saying, “how’s this?” or words to that effect on Jan. 23 in Brentwood.
