3 New Jersey Residents Enter The Big Brother House: See Details

Three New Jersey residents will have the chance to compete for $750,000 this summer as they join the latest season of Big Brother.

Now in its 28th year, Big Brother is a reality competition show that follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with over 100 cameras and 100 microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day.

Each week, someone is voted out of the house until the last houseguest is left standing. The winner receives the grand prize of $750,000.

In this year's edition of the beloved competition show, three residents will represent the Garden State. These houseguests are:

LaTrice Verrett

• Age: 57
• Hometown: Kankakee, Ill.
• Current City: Maplewood, NJ
• Occupation: Boutique salesperson
• Describes herself as a social game player who can also compete in physical competitions. Her goal is to be the oldest winner in Big Brother U.S. history, as she'll soon be 58 years old.

Mallory Aurichio

• Age: 24
• Hometown: Township of Washington, NJ
• Occupation: Rocket scientist
• Thinks she has what it takes to win Big Brother because she has "the three most important things" — good social game, smarts and athleticism.

Yash Patel

• Age: 24
• Hometown: Monroe Township, NJ
• Occupation: Financial analyst
• Thinks showmances (when two people get into a romantic relationship on a reality show) could work to for him this season, both as a game strategy and a way to potentially start his own relationship.

Alongside these Garden State residents, LaTrice, Mallory and Yash will also be joined by other competitors in the Big Brother house, ranging from an MMA fighter to a game show host and a Drag Race All Star.

During Thursday night's season premiere, host Julie Chen Moonves also revealed that the houseguests will be joined by three other reality TV icons who will compete for the grand prize.

“[Time travel] could go forwards or backwards, and that will play into some of the competitions,” Moonves previously told People Magazine. “Does that mean we’re going to bring back some competition you haven’t seen since season 3, 2, 4, 5? I sure hope so.”

Viewers can catch every moment of the Big Brother house when Live Feeds open on Friday 9:00 p.m., ET/6:00 p.m., PT on Paramount+* and Pluto TV.

For the first time, feeds will also be available on the show’s official YouTube channel for a limited time after every Big Brother and Big Brother: Unlocked episode.
