NJ Lt. Governor Under Investigation, Report Says
There are accusations of inappropriate behavior toward women and ethics violations, according to the report.
New Jersey's Lieutenant Governor Dale Caldwell is being investigated by Mikie Sherrill's office for alleged inappropriate behavior with women, according to a New Jersey Globe report.
The report says that Caldwell is also being investigated for "possible ethics violations that include the purported offer of state jobs."
Leading the investigation is former New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino, according to the report. Porrino has been interviewing complainants, including state employees, and potential witnesses, it adds.

Specifics on the alleged "inappropriate behavior" were not immediately available.
"The Governor would take any reports of inappropriate behavior or misconduct extremely seriously and expects our public officials to hold themselves to the highest standards," Governor's Office spokesperson Sean Higgins told Patch. "We cannot confirm or deny potential personnel matters."
