Summer-like Weather Headed To NJ: Latest Forecast
Temperatures will soar into the 90s by the middle of next week, according to the latest forecast.
A seasonably cool Friday will be followed by building heat, with temperatures getting into the 90s by the middle of next week, according to the latest forecast.
"Given the forecast temperatures and humidity levels in the East early next week, it will feel more like summer than spring," AccuWeather Vice President of Forecast Operations Dan DePodwin said. "In many areas, Tuesday will bring the highest temperatures of the year so far, surpassing the highs reached in April."
The big warmup will start Saturday, with temperatures gradually getting warmer each day, forecasters said.

"Saturday will feature highs mainly in the upper 70s to low 80s with highs Sunday getting into the mid to upper 80s inland," National Weather Service forecasters said. "Along the immediate coast it will generally be a good 5-10 degrees cooler."
By Monday, much of the state will see temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80s, with South Jersey reaching the low 90s, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday and possibly Wednesday could reach the mid-90s, though forecasters aren't too confident in how that will play out.
While temperatures may get close to heat advisory criteria, humidity should stay low to keep that from happening.
"In any case, we`ll be getting close to record high temperature
territory Monday through Wednesday of next week," the National Weather Service said.
The heat looks to break by Thursday, forecasters said. A cold front will bring rain and thunderstorms Wednesday into Thursday. After that, temperatures will moderate closer to normal for this time of year.
