Two are dead and four are injured following a mass shooting in Passaic County this weekend.

On Sunday, around 8:30 p.m., police were called to the area of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Godwin Avenue in Paterson on reports of shots fired.

34-Hour SWAT Standoff Ends With Gunshots, Arrest In Bridgewater

A Bridgewater man was arrested following a 34-hour SWAT standoff at his home, where three shots were fired, said Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald.

The 34-hour-long standoff began on Thursday at 7:44 p.m., when Bridgewater Police got a 911 call about Eric J. Thorogood, 25, and went to a home on Hill Lane to try to contact him.

Neighbor Helps Police Nab 3 Teens After Home Break-In In Gloucester Township

Three teens who were trying to steal a vehicle were arrested Friday night after a neighbor saw them break into a home and called police, Gloucester Township police said Saturday.

The teen boys — two 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old — are being held at a juvenile detention center after the incident that happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday, Lt. Bernard Dougherty said.

Child Fatally Struck By School Bus In South Jersey

A child is dead after police said they were hit by a school bus on Friday.

According to Greenwich Township police, the incident occurred around 3:40 p.m. in the area of Bennett Street and Ashton Drive.

Fatal Crash Under Investigation In Middlesex County

A fatal crash is under investigation in Middlesex County, Jamesburg Police said.

At 1:26 a.m. on Sunday, police said a fatal motor vehicle crash occurred on Forsgate Drive at the intersection of Buckelew Avenue.
