Memorial Day Weekend Weather Forecast Changes For NJ: Here's What To Know
Wednesday's storms brought in an "unsettled" weather pattern that will mark a 40 degree temperature drop from Wednesday.
The cool-down from Wednesday's heavy rain across the Garden State looks to put the unofficial start of summer a bit "on ice."
Temperatures are set to trend down into the 60s on Thursday and Friday, and can even drop to 50 on Saturday, depending on rainfall.
This drop comes after a start to the week that was packed with sun and highs in the 90s.

"The seemingly endless temperature roller coaster this spring will continue through the holiday weekend with another sharp cooldown across the northeastern quarter of the nation," AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Brett Anderson said.
Much of New Jersey will feel like a brisk spring day on Saturday with anticipated rain and a "feels-like" high in the 50s, according to AccuWeather's "RealFeel."

"This persistent pattern of major temperature swings has clearly wreaked havoc on plants and agriculture across the Northeast, as the region has gone from record-breaking heat to hard freezes, then back to leaf-withering heat and now another chilly stretch," AccuWeather's Anderson added.
The rain is on track to be steady all day Saturday, with enough of an impact on Memorial Day events to consider backup indoor options.
