NJ School Closings As Blizzard Continues To Hammer State

As a historic blizzard continues to make its way across the Garden State, many schools have started to announce closures for Tuesday.

As of Monday morning, New Jersey has received up to two feet of snow (and counting), with mass transit suspended, a State of Emergency in place, and state-wide power outages.

Additionally, a blizzard warning is in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday.

“Our teams are working around the clock to clear the roads, get us back up and running, and ensure the safety of New Jerseyans,” Governor Mikie Sherrill said. “Please stay in and stay safe.”
